Can’t remove the Reactions so I can reposition it

Hi, I’m referring to code provided from the link below to reposition the WP Reactions to another part of the post layout.

Repositioning works but I cannot remove it from the original location. I get this error “Cannot use object of type Closure as array” all content of the post does not show up now.

Please help?
