Same problem in another hosting.
After reload admin, notice is still visible.

Until this is fixed, I disabled the notice by commenting out line 188 of wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeMain.php

The notice is being shown because of the transient that stores the dismissed state is not sticking. I have not been able to reproduce this on any of my sites/ servers and thus have no idea where/ how I could fix this, but as a workaround (and avoiding changes to AO’s code) you can use this code snippet;

add_filter( 'autoptimize_filter_main_imgopt_plug_notice', '__return_empty_string' );

FYI: I have this same problem on at least a dozen sites and none of them are on siteground. They are on bluehost, hostgator, viviotech

if you want there’s a potential fix for the notice’s non-dismissable state you found, would be great if you could download the github version and check if the “try shortpixel” notice can be dismissed (technical details; the PAnD framework library now doens’t use transients any more to store notice status, but an option).
