Can’t remove protection and disable prevent direct access

    Hello,

    After enabling protection for a file and disabling direct access (enabling the “prevent direct access” feature), I removed protection, deleted all my cahces (browser and wordpress), and also tried disabling and re-enabling the plugin, but the protection won’t be removed from the media file. I can protect it again, but the protection was never removed in the first place. Now I can not access the file directly, which is important for it to work on my website (a background image). How to solve this?

    In our testing, it’s working fine.
    There can be a conflict with another plugin, can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking.
    If, still the problem exists then we need to debug the issue properly, please post your query here.
