Can't remove numbers initially placed in sort order boxes

  • I initially used the numbered feature of Post Sort by placing numbers in the boxes next to the arrows. I then decided the arrows were a better way to go.

    I cannot remove or change the numbers in those boxes now and it still affects the sorting.

    I tried replacing them with 0 or -blank- or other numbers. No luck

    Can you help?
