cant remove menu or menu item

  • i have created some menus using Appearance>Menus panel. Now when i try to delete it it shows

    The menu has been successfully deleted.

    but menu is still visible. Same thing with removing items from menu. I can add new items to menu, but when i try to remove it, after saveing menu, they remains.

    cant give you address (it is on local server now). it is 3.3.1
    More details:
    clicking + to add new menu -> new menu is created
    clicking delete menu -> geting “The menu has been successfully deleted.” Menu is not deleted.

    adding item to existing menu -> new items in menu
    clicking remove and save menu -> item shows again in menu

    Now i have problem with attaching templates to pages. There is no dropdown list for selecting template.

    Do you have the same problem when you use another theme?
    Test with another theme and then reactivate the old theme.

    I reinstalled wordpress. Problem is no more.
