@esraamesa Whereas the XML Sitemap should dynamically update after any modification to it, if the site or server is caching the sitemap this can cause it to not update right away. We also have additional information on this at the following link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-does-not-update/. If you are not seeing the sitemap as updated, we would recommend checking your caching settings to ensure that the sitemap is being excluded from the cache.

To do so, we would recommend checking the sitemaps headers to see if caching is enabled by using the guide here: https://yoast.com/help/sitemap-does-not-update/. As ?Yoast SEO does not cache sitemaps, if you find that the sitemap is being cached we would recommend ensuring that the sitemaps are being excluded from caching on your site.

We have a guide on how to exclude your site’s sitemaps caching for a variety of plugins and caching types at the following link: https://yoast.com/help/exclude-sitemaps-from-cache/. If you don’t see the type of caching your site is using listed there, you may need to contact your hosting provider for assistance.

Can you please try the aforementioned suggestions and letting us know whether it resolves your issue and you are able to successfully update the sitemap?

    Thanks for your reply.

We’ve followed this step from your guide:
    Manual sitemap update
If you want to do a manual sitemap update, please disable the sitemap feature, clear cache, and enable the sitemap feature to force the sitemap to rebuild.

But it still doesn’t work for us.

In this case, can you please share the relevant sitemap URL and as well as the relevant deleted page URL so that we can test it on our end?
