• My website is not secured because I have a http image that is not cached with the address “https://demo-bourg-la-reine.local/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/hector-martinez-110928-unsplash.jpg” that I found on my page info in Firefox, even though I had deleted it from my media library and it’s not there anymore. I was working on this site on Local by flywheel and now I migrated it to a subdomain. The website has a SSL certificate.
I don’t know if this might help but I don’t remember adding this photo to my site and whenever there was an empty image, when I tried to add one with Elementor I found this image inserted by default.

  • Hi @ilyass28, if I’m understanding your question correctly, you have a version of an image on your production website that is referring to http when it should be using https, correct? It’s worth noting that even if an image is removed from the media gallery, your posts and pages may still reference the image. I’d recommend doing a search for that image name in the posts search and see if you can determine which post or page is referencing the image.

It’s also possible the image is referenced from your theme or a default setting in Elementor (though I’m not familiar with that plugin). In any case, my guess is there’s a stray value and if you can do a search from your WordPress admin, you’ll likely locate the source.

    Best,
    Ben

Thanks @bengreeley, there was a certain section with a blank background image in each page that I think was pointing to this image so I deleted it and it fixed the problem. I tried deleting section by section to find where the problem came from.
