Can't receive emails

    I can’t receive emails when the form is filled-in and sent (even if it says “message sent”). I checked what you say in FAQ and:

    1. I actually can’t receive ANY email from my WP site (not even non-Formidable emails) which are directed to the WP admin email. Conversely I receive emails to my personal non-WP admin email from Formidable forms. Do you know how to help?

    2. I installed the WP-SMPT plugin, but it doesn’ work, either when setting SMPT or PHP.

    3. Spam box: empty.

    I use gmail.

  • When you use Gmail, make sure:

    • Your from address is always your address, not your visitor’s address
    • You deliver your email through smtp.gmail.com

    Also, since you have confirmed that your site is not sending any emails, I would recommend letting your webhost know about the problem.

    Thank you, Jamie. Since I think can be a problem of lots of users, I am happy to explain everybody how I solved it.

    So: if you have a gmail account and IF YOU CAN’T RECEIVE ANY EMAIL FROM YOUR WORDPRESS SITE, DO THE FOLLOWING:

    GO TO YOUR WEBHOSTING CONTROL PANEL AND CHANGE SETTINGS OF VOICE MX FROM “LOCAL MAIL EXCHANGER” TO “REMOTE MAIL EXCHANGER”.

    I don’t know how most people can do this. I am hosted by GoDaddy and I went to the cPANEL, under the EMAIL section and selected VOICE MX.
