    Hi,
I tried to use your plugin on two different insatallations on also to different vps servers.
On both installations I can not publish a slider. The frontend (shortcode) says “Slider is not published yet and saved as draft”.

In the error log I found the following 404 error messages:
    … wp-content/plugins/depicter/resources/scripts/editor/vendors-main.js.map

    Thanks for your help!
    Michael

    Hi,
sorry, perhaps I did not express myself clearly but I clicked the publish button.

I try to explain the process:
When I make changes to the slider, I can see the “publish” button with a yellow outline and a yellow dot. By clicking on that button I see the popup with a blue button called “publish changes”. Clicking on that button the system shows up with a message “all changes are published” and a green dot.
A few seconds later, it changes back to “You have unpublished changes”.
Clicking again, it seem to be published but the message on the frontend shows up with the message “Slider is not published yet and saved as draft”.

For debugging I disabled all plugins and switched back to the default theme but that did not solve the issue.

I think I made the correct steps but it’s not woking.
    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hi again,
We are going to release an update in a few hours, please try to update to the latest version after that, and if still got the issue let us know.

i still have the same issue even after the update

    Hi,
unfortunately the issue persists after the update.
On the dashboard I now have a status column. When I click on publish now, the status changes to published. The word publised appears greyed out.
When I refresh the dashboard page, the status switched back to unpublished.

In the frontend where I inserted the shortcode I now see the preview of the slider with this message:
“This slider is not published yet and will not be visible to the visitors. Open the editor and publish now. This notice is only visible to you.”

That is strange, first of all, I am sorry that still we could not help you fix the issue. As you may know bcz of WP.org policy here is kind of limited and we cannot ask for lots of info. Otherwise, we could help you faster.
For now, May I ask you to try to create a slider without an image just a simple slider maybe just add 2 slides with the background color. Then try to publish it to see whether it works.

Also please give us the link of your website and the template that you have imported.

Waiting to hear back from you

as maentioned before this on a local server/host

Can you please record a short video and open the console on your browser as well.
This way we can see the issue better and we try to understand how and when it happens.
And did you try to create a blank slider with no image and see whether it works or not?

    here is the error

    An error has occurred
    Connection Error ..

    #RequestException:60
SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

    Hi,
sorry for the delay. busy times at the moment.
I created a slider from scratch without any images and I was able to publish it.
I also updated to the latest version 1.3.1.
It seems that it is not working when images (or svg graphics) are used from https://pre.wp-api.depicter.com.
Also when I click on “create slider” I get the following error message:

    #RequestException:60
SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

    {"errno":60,"error":"SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired","appconnect_time":0,"url":"https://pre.wp-api.depicter.com/v1/curated/document/templates/categories?category=custom","content_type":null,"http_code":0,"header_size":0,"request_size":0,"filetime":-1,"ssl_verify_result":1,"redirect_count":0,"total_time":0.204434,"namelookup_time":0.004162,"connect_time":0.10121,"pretransfer_time":0,"size_upload":0,"size_download":0,"speed_download":0,"speed_upload":0,"download_content_length":-1,"upload_content_length":-1,"starttransfer_time":0,"redirect_time":0,"redirect_url":"","primary_ip":"5.161.142.33","certinfo":[],"primary_port":443,"local_ip":"94.247.146.95","local_port":47214,"curl_version":"7.38.0"}

I have the same problem. My php version was a bit outdated, check and see if your php meets the minimum php requirement of plug-in. My problem is solved after php update.
