Can't Publish – Only Submit for Review

    I’ve been lookiing into this problem for the last few days and still haven’t got a solution. It seems a lot of people were getting this issue when upgrading WP however mine is a fresh install of 3.3.2

    I’m developing locally hosting WP in IIS 7.5 with the PHP module installed and I’m using MySQL Locally for the database host.

    I’ve tried many solutions but nothing seems to be working. It is occuring when I install the ImageStore plugin (uninstalling that plugin enables Publishing again (I’m following this up with the developer as well) but this plugin is working fine for thousands of users so there is still something particular about my situation that is causing this problem.

    Any ideas would be really appreicated as I’m going nuts over this.

    This issue was being caused by my local MySQL configuration.

    I went over to the instance configuration and changed the following line in the my.ini file (using the UI)

    from:

    sql_mode = “STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION”

    to:

    sql_mode = “”

    Bingo … all fixed …
