can’t publish new page

  • Hiya. I’m working on a website for a friend. I’m no pro, but I’m no newb. So, this site — it was created a few years ago. When I started working on it, i saw that all the content appeared as shortcode. like, no visual at all. it said it was “classic” in the left bar, but, gibberish. so, I installed the classic editor plugin, and i discovered that the site had been built in fusion builder — the reason for the shortcode after gutenberg roll out? anyway, I can now create a page, using the fusion builder, it’s not gibberish, and it functions in preview, but when I publish, and I’ve tried several times, i either get a 404 error, or the page just redirects to the home page. HALP!

  • For the first, make sure you have been update wordpress core, plugin and theme.
    and then, if you still getting same problem, try to change your theme to wordpress default theme.

    If you still getting same problem,
    deactive all plugin, and try ti post again.

    You’ll find the problem.
