can’t post to categories

  • hi
    I’ve just published my first page as home page
    now every time i write a post it’s automaticaly published
    in my home page that is: url/home/post.

    I’ve set up the categories
    but when i try to publish it doesn’t give me the
    option to choose a category

    could someone please help with this?
