unable to post or upload images?

  • Has anyone ever had their blog stop allowing them to post? Even thing seems normal but when I hit publish nothing happens also if it is any help i also can not upload images?

  • Nothing happens, meaning you get no errors? Does the page refresh at all? What version of WordPress are you using and what browser? These details will help us help you figure out your problem. Also, what plugins do you have active on your blog?

    Hi…..sorry to hear about your problem Bone7890 (sucks when things don’t work) and sorry about jumping in here, but thought this might help.

    I’m using Firefox 3.0.6 and CognoBlue WordPress Theme By Blogsdna with version 2.5 (curious, does a theme affect how a blog works?)……and I can not upload media.

    All else seems to works.

    Seems to skip a step when I try to upload. Skips #1 and goes right to step #2.

    Page reads……From Computer – then has bar “Choose files to upload” -or- “From URL”.

    Previous screen “Browse / upload” flashes for 1/2 second then right to step #2.

    Have deactivated everything and rebooted. Still nada!

    I am also unable to upload any images into my posts. The media buttons that were on top of the posting screen in the earlier versions of WordPress have completely disappeared.

    There is a link for media in the left sidebar of the admin control panel, and from there, an option to upload a file. However, the pictures I tried uploading only go into the media library. I can’t get the images from the media library into my post.

    So if anyone has suggestions, it would be very much appreciated.

    I am running 2.5., i have tried it in both firefox and safari with the same results. the screen refreshes and returns right back to the same write a post page but it is blank.

    ok so i have upgraded to 2.7.1 but now i can’t logo in any ideas? is there a way to reset the user/pswd

    I’m a first timer here. Just got my site up and running and trying to post some pictures on my site. The image shows up in the media library but it is not on my site. I clicked on the title of the post where I want the image to appear but it still doesn’t show up. Please help a real non-techie. Thanks.
