• I’m using MediaElements.js-HTML5 Audio and Video player on my site: https://fmcleamington.org/sermons/990/ but I cannot get Google Chrome or Firefox to play the mp3 audio file. It plays fine on IE9 (need to click compatibility button,) but, simply will not play in Chrome or Firefox which are the prefered browsers for my group. Can anyone help get this working in Chrome and Firefox or give me any tips or suggestions or even point in the direction I need to go to get this problem resolved? At this point I’m almost tempted to pray for a solution to this problem because I am going nuts trying to get it sorted out myself.

  • Seems like you’re tryin to play an mp3 linked from a dropbox acc. I’m not 100% sure that it will work. You could try to get the hotlink by uploading to, for example, Fileden or kiwi6. Or add a tiny mp3 file to your server and put the link into the Mejs player.

Thanks so much for your input. I’m trying to upload to FileDen and Kiwi6, but, it appears that the MP3 file I want to upload is too large 17.8MB. Could you give me quick instructions on how to add the link to the Mejs player. I can see Mejs in my ftp program but i don’t know where to place the file to get it to play.
