Can't perform first manual backup

  • I have the same problem too. it was working before when “wordpress” was newly installed. I have created a backup successfully. After I added more plugins and pages. Now, it does not work anymore. Nothing happens, after I clicked the “Perform manual backup” button.

    Any suggestion, please help?

    I finally figured out the work-around. In my case, it has something to do with the “Themes” settings under “Appearance”. After I deactivated the “Virtue” theme and re-activated the “Twenty Sixteen” theme. It works fine!
