Can't Paste into WordPress Visual Editor with Firefox

  • I can paste with all other browsers, just not with Firefox, I can go to edit paste but not ctrl + v, I also can do it in all other area’s that I tried in my page like the text editor, just not the visual editor.

    I tried this on multiple websites and computers, is this a problem with Firefox? Or is it just my computer setup, because I set my PC’s up similar every one I get.

    I have the latest wordpress and all of that stuff too, I always keep my page up to date.

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting https://whatbrowser.org/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which version of Firefox you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    I am able to paste using CTRL-V into the visual editor fine using Firefox 44.0.2 32bit in Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

    Likewise in Firefox 44.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.11.3.
