  • Hi @syfqh,

Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue – we have recently released an update that should help get this resolved. Could you please try updating to the current version (2.1.4) and let me know if you’re running into any further issues?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi @jenskyverge,

I still got the same error after update current version.

    Hi @syfqh,

In this case, this error that you’re seeing may be the result of a different issue. As a next step, I’d like to rule out any conflicts that might be causing the issue.

    • Would you please switch to a default theme, such as Twenty Nineteen? If this resolves the issue, it looks like there’s a theme conflict.
    • Next, could you please try disabling all your plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce? If this fixes the issue, you can try re-enabling your plugins one by one to find out which one is causing the issue.

Could you please let me know what you find?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi @jenskyverge,

Thank you for the suggested solution and I tried it using Twenty Nineteen and Twenty Twenty themes, but I still can’t edit my WooCommerce product page. Maybe I should rollback to version 2.1.2.

    Hi @syfqh,

Thanks for trying that out. As a next step, I’d like to double-check if your site is logging any errors when this issue occurs. Would you please head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and check if you have any “fatal errors” log files? This should look something like this.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi @syfqh,

It doesn’t look like any of those errors were thrown by this plugin. To fix the “CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted” issue, I would recommend taking a look at this article.

In that same log, are you able to locate any errors that mention Facebook specifically? If so, could you please copy and paste them here?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi @jenskyverge, Hi @syfqh,
    I have the same serious issue and i can confirmed this occurs in the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce;
when the plugin is enabled, only a very sad, totally empty blank page appears! ??
    Please, help me too!
    THANK’S IN ADVANCE!

    Hi @jenskyverge,

Thank you for your recommendation. How about this one? I got this error after deactivated Facebook for WooCommerce.

    Hi @syfqh,

Unfortunately it’s still not clear what is causing any of this information in the logs. Could you please walk through the following steps:

    • Enable the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin
    • Attempt to edit a product
    • If you are unable to do so, navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and see if anything has been logged just then (you should be able to tell from the timestamp).
    • If you are seeing something that was logged right at the time you attempted to edit a product with the plugin active, could you please copy and paste that part of the log?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi @jenskyverge,

I can edit my WooCommerce product page now! I think maybe because of PHP memory limit and none of logs show after I tried to edit a product. Thank you so much.

Hi @gullifer, maybe you can give a try to increase your PHP memory limit and see if it can resolve your problem too.

    Hi @syfqh,

I’m so glad to hear that this worked for you and that you’re able to edit your products now! ?? Thanks for sharing your solution here, as this should be helpful for other users that may run into a similar issue.

I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved. If you do run into any further issues, please don’t hesitate to reach back out. We’ll be happy to help.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
