Your subject line is (was) “Can’t open any posts or pages on my site, not responsive!?” but your problem is — The “add media” icon does not respond. These are not the same things. What is the actual problem?

Please provide a link to your site! Thanks.

Hi Steve.. thanks for your help
the issue is really with the add media link on one post called “ModerArt Cafe & Cafe Picasso”
on all the other posts it seem to work fine.

Also wanted to ask if i can do a paid upgrade for my existing wordpress site without causing any changes?

    Thanks
    Ulrich

A paid upgrade? WordPress is free. Where is your site hosted?

OK, got it. I don’t understand what you mean by a paid upgrade.

Now, with respect to the problem —

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Is changing the theme going to alter the site?
ref.. upgrade..I just saw on wrodpress.com 3 different plans to choose from??

Wordpress.com is a hosting company. WordPress is software distributed by www.remarpro.com. Despite the similarities in name (and a lot of cross pollination), they are separate things. You use www.remarpro.com distributed software on hostgator, not on wordpress.com.

Changing the theme will alter the look and feel of your site. Themes “express” the content in your database.

Hi Steve.. I am still trying to make it work without changing my theme which is “Pinnacle” since i put a lot of effort into it and don’t want to start from scratch again.
Now I also cannot update the SEO version 5.3 to 5.4 as it suggest on the site, it always says “Maitenance..be back shortly” I also deactivated the plugsins but the “ADD MEDIA” icon still doesn’t react or open.
Don’t understand why after all these weeks it doesn’t work, i haven’t added or changed anything.

Do you have additional suggestions beside changing the theme?
    Thank You Steve

Is the add media button visible and working on the other pages and posts on your site?

    (@ulrich395)

No Steve it doesn’t work on any post nor pages, but the icon is visible and moves but don’t open.

    Please try this:

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Ok I tried all the plugins…that doesn’t seem to be the problem .. I tried to uptake the theme as it suggests and also tried to change to another theme as you recommended but I can’t even do that.. no response
    Very frustrated at this point!
