Can't move wordpress site to new server ;(

  • Hi. Cant remember the wordpress version, but its quite new.

    I moved my site to another server, but a domain is still the same. And now, when I enter the url i see the WordPress Installation panel (language choosing and so on)!

    Please help me to recover my site, I dont want to build this site from scratch.

    You need to move database too from old server to new server and do config the database setting.

    Hi again.

    The detail i obtained was “table prefix” in my wp-config.php file. It was different than in database. I’m wondering what would happen if I indeed went through the WP configuration by the site. Would I set a new tables prefix or made an even bigger mess ??
