Can't move widgets

Hi Crew,
Making great progress – but have run into a snag.

I go to the Wigets page, and I cannot move new widgets to the sidebar, or move widgets from the side bar. When I click and hold on a widget – all it does is start highlighting text on the page going either direction. What am I doing wrong?
