• Hi,

I already use Post Types order to order a Custom Post Type, where I just works great.

Now, I just activated it on posts. And surprizingly, some of my posts can’t be swiped. The new position in the list won’t be saved. I need to swipe down, one by one, every single post above which I want my post to position.

What’s also funny, is that some of the most recent posts get listed waaaaaay down the list.

I tested that setup on 2 other environments, it worked great. Now, on the live website, which is strictly the same, it doesn’t work properly.

Any idea what might go wrong here?

    Thanks

At some point, there are posts I just can’t push further down in the list.

It seems like some specific post are blocking: I can’t push a specific post beyond that one. Sometimes, re-saving some of them finally helps moving posts again.
Posts are the default WordPress entity. Can you please help me nail down what could intefere?

    Thanks

I found a parade: using the re-order tool and validate with the button. Now it seeems to work. Does it help to know why some won’t allow to be moved from the standard list view?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Can you ensure the drag & drop is active through the Settings > Post Types Order settings? That work for non-hierarchical post types.

    Thanks

    Hi, thanks for replying.

The drag & drop setting is active.

However, some of these posts have 2 categories associated, with one of them being set as “Primary”. Can this be the issue?
