Cant modify products on homepage

Hello,

I am unable to edit the products that display on the homepage. I am only able to display products sorted by popularity. None of the homepage components work. I tried using the woocommerce shortcode and it only display 2 columns. I would like to display featured products. Any help here is appreciated.
