I have a live site on my SiteGround account, on their old hosting plan.

At their recommendation, i added the new hosting plan to the same account and am now trying to move my domains & sites to the new plan.

    At their recommendation:
    – I created a new website with temporary domain
    – I accessed the new temporary domain and generated a Migration token.
    – I logged into the existing site and installed the Migrator plugin.
    – I pasted in the migration token.

    This error occurs:
Can not connect to SiteGround WP-migrator plugin at domainname.

I’ve tried it with multiple sites & domains, and encounter the same error every time.

The migrator is not designed to be used for such cases thus sometimes the service may experience such problems. 99% it was resolving your domain name to the new host where you’ve already created the site while your content was on the. old cPanel server. If you do this, please migrate to a temporary URL and then change it to the actual one once you make sure everything is working fine.
