    Hi,
I’m a newby here, so please be patient with me.
I had WP 2.1 running properly on my external ISP host.
Then I decided to set up my own webserver on my pc and run WP from there. The migration works, partially.
    I can:
    1. open my blog (from the internet)
    2. log in as admin (on localhost)
    3. add a new post (on localhost)
    I can’t:
    1. get any themed background
    2. can’t sign out from admin.
    This is my setup:
    0. Win XP Home SP2
    1. Abyss Web Server X1 2.4 (runs)
    2. MysSQL Community Server 5.0 (runs)
    3. PHP5 (runs)
    4. phpMyAdmin 2.9 (runs)
I did an export of my WP database from my ISP’s SQL and imported it into my local mysql database.
I ran the WP-upgrade script succesfully.
Still I must be doing something wrong, because I can’t get the background (theme).
    My site is https://www.jedeboer.nl/blog
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I only have one day experience with PHP, MySQL and phpMyAdmin.
    Kind regards,
    Jan

  • Hi,

I am having the same problem as golf1025 do, except that my web server is running on Linux Fedora 6 version and Apache. Since the above post was marked as “resvoled”. Can someone help to re-post the solution to resolve the problem? Thanks so much !
