Can't migrate my website

  • I’ve developed completely a wordpress on my web server. It was approved, now I’m trying to migrate it to the company web server.

    It consists of a modified theme over the Cherry Framework and a few plugins.

    I did migrate the MySQL database. I can see the content on myphpadmin but it is not reflected in the general site (on wp-admin, it doesn’t show the content in pages, for example).

    But the main problem is when I upload the plugins and the theme. The wp-admin recognizes it but, once I activate the theme, everything becomes blank. The site, the wp-admin, everything. And I simply cannot revert it.

    It’s about the 3rd time it happens. Does anyone know why does it happen and what can I do about it, please?

  • try to find server error log and see what error is coming

    when you find error you can short out

    @susheelhbti, Can you please stop adding your signature to your posts? Thank you for providing support, but these forums shouldn’t be used to promote yourself.

    Try to use a plugin name updraft-plus.
    Back up your WordPress via updraft plus and download the backups.
    Then, install a new WP on the new server and the plugin too.
    Upload and restore. It will restore all of the uploads, themes, plugins and database.
    Or you can just put your domain here, and let us help you to figure out the errors.

    People, I’ve tried almost everything.

    I’ve imported the database and copied the files, nothing.
    I’ve reinstalled WordPress and copied the plugins and themes, nothing.
    I’ve exported and reimported the whole package using all in one migration and duplicator. Nothing.

    I think this has something to do with the cherry framework I’m using. It’s always when I activate the theme that it crashes. Last time, I got a error that the style.less in its folder couldn’t be find because of the path (old path). I’ve changed that but still, nothing.

    You can just put your domain and the errors here.

    Right now there are no errors shown, just a blank page, both for the website or the wp-admin.

    I’ll contact the theme sellers support now.
