• Hello all!
I’m using Shipworks and everything has been working great until this morning. I’m getting a WooCommerce server side error that says:

“The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseHeader Detail=CR must be followed by LF”

Called Shipworks and they said that they are unable to make a secure connection to WooCommerce. Is Woocommerce down or have they made any changes within the past few hours? Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • Having similar problem. Website was working fine until yesterday now GoDaddy is telling me I’m having Database Connectinb problems due to the woocommerce update. My whole site is down and timeing out when trying to log in or even pull up the site. My error messages are all Server related.

    Savvy,
So WooCommerce just launched a major update or something? Sounds like this is related to the issue, no way we are the only ones.

I didn’t update anything on my end, did you?

    Thanks

    TS55,
There was a small update for woocommerce. I did do the update and my site fell apart so I went back and reset to 12 hours prior. The website is still not working. Been down 2 days now, it’s painful.

Your two issues are entirely unrelated.
You mention WooCommerce being “down” – there’s no “WooCommerce server” other then your own web hosting. You need to contact your host and work through with them if anything with your server config has been altered in terms of allowing incoming requests, or if your SSL cert isn’t working/installed correctly.

    Cheers
