Can't make my translation work

    I’ve been trying to translate the theme to Russian. This is the first time I attempt translating a theme, so alot might have gone wrong.

    When loading the xx_XX.pot file in Poedit I get the following message:
    There are no translations. That’s unusual.

    So I went ahead and used the sv_SE .po file that was already in the language folder and edited it to create ru_RU .po and .mo files that I uploaded to that same folder. But I can’t seem to get it to work, the theme is stuck in English.

    Can you give me some guidance please?
