Can’t make it work

Hello, I like you theme, I think is well coded and is fast. Problem is I can’t make it work. By any means, I’m a novice to WP and customizing themes, plugins and optimizing websites for performance. I looked at documentation but it didn’t help at all. I made the front page a static page, choose the front page template. Now I can’t select images for the slider or any other features that are in the demo.

Can you guide me, or make more comprehensive guidance?
