    Hello

I followed the instructions on the plugin www.remarpro.com page, but have two problems.

The text you say to add to footer.php is missing “<?” and “?>” on the page. The first time I edited the footer.php file I didn’t realise and now, despite correcting the file, I have this code at the top of my footer:
    if( function_exists(‘slbd_display_widgets’) ) { echo slbd_display_widgets(); }

The second problem may well be related. I have edited the footer adding two text and one custome html widgets. On my page I can see three widget containers, but no content.

My theme is Sirius Pro by Lyrathemes. Is this compatible with the plugin?

Out of the several footer.php files I could have edited, I chose the file in the theme folder – was that the right thing to do?

    cheers

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

I have checked your website and found that plugin is adding code in your footer section and also fond that you have added 3 widgets (Need some custom designing)

Sorry but i am not getting your question.

Thank you so much for replying. I am sorry for the confusion I caused, I stil have some questions if you will forgive me?

I sent the support request and then had a bit of a brainwave. I added the <?php stuff to the code you provided and moved the code below the pre-existing footer material. Then it all worked. I was working in notepad which wasn’t the best, can I edit footer.php in WordPress.

But as you say I need some custom designing.

I guess I design each widget using the ‘text’ editor in the widget option of the customiser? Where can I find some example code?

I imagine I have to put something in footer.php to create a space between the existing footer material and the three widgets I added, but what? I can ‘do’ html by following examples, but php is a whole new kettle of fish.

If I don’t want my material in columns, what do I do? for example, I would like the about text to run from left up to the LinkedIn thing and have the ‘legal’ stuff underneath the about text.

    Hello @mish99

Your Query : I imagine I have to put something in footer.php to create a space between the existing footer material and the three widgets I added, but what? I can ‘do’ html by following examples, but php is a whole new kettle of fish.

Ans : That can be happen if you add all the widgets by This Plugin and Adding custom css. If you want our technical team will help you to do that. You need to generate support ticket.

    Thanks and regards.
