• Hi! When ever I try to edit the css style sheet, the changes don’t show up. I click save, and nothing happens.

Do you know what this one does: W3 Total Cache

No. I think it came with the installation. But this is the description:

The highest rated and most complete WordPress performance plugin. Dramatically improve the speed and user experience of your site. Add browser, page, object and database caching as well as minify and content delivery network (CDN) to WordPress.

I think it might be from iPage??

Caching means it saves the look and feel of your website in a separate area and serves that to the person looking at your website, instead of always making your website’s server recreate the look and feel. This means your new changes will not show up because it is saving and showing old versions of your website. That plugin has a section somewhere that lets you clear the “cache”. Once you do, deactivate it at least when you are developing.

That worked! Thank you so much!

    Wait, no it didn’t.

I tested by changing the text to green. Now I want to change the text back to black, and the changes aren’t showing up. I didn’t deactivate the plugin. Maybe there’s another issue?

    I mean, I didn’t ACTIVATE the plugin.

Can you show us the page with the problem and point out the bit of text that you’re referring to?
