Can't Logout Firefox or IE

  • It takes me 12 – 18 attempts all one after the other to logout of WordPress.

    I’ve updated the files. I’ve deactiveated all plugins. I’ve changed the theme to the 2012 theme. And the only way i can logout using Firefox or IE (I don’t use chrome) is to hit the logout link at the upper right of the wordpress admin area a dozen or more time one after the other. over and over again.

    Clear your browser cache and clean up temp files on your computer. Run up to date antivirus scan of full computer files. Update these browsers if possible. BTW, what version of each are you using?

    Does this happen from another modern computer?
