Can't logon to my site/ Locked out of the site

  • I forgot my logon password, then tried too many times before getting locked out with the error message below.

    unused

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Now I can’t log on to change the password as the link I was using previously now just times out saying the server is not available. (I don’t access the website very much but still have a valid account as far as I’m aware).

    Can you advise or point me in the right direction of a post? Thanks.

  • Hi,

    The error message states that it is some kind of server issue and I’d recommend doing what it says: contact your hosting provider, they should be able to fix it for you. It is probably due to some security feature on the server.
