is it possible to login here: https://www.satvoices.com/wp-login.php

    If so try:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    if not try:

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

This could be a charset issue (utf8): https://forums.phplist.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=29602

    try this
open your theme file’s in notepad++, from the Encoding Menu select Convert to UTF-8 without BOM, save all the files, replace it on the host.

did you reset the plugins folder?

    (@satman1)

i have deactivated plugins yes. not sure how to do what you said above sorry, i cant find an encoding menu in https://ftp.Do i open my current theme “superblogger”?

Deactivate the plugins first to see if it is not a plugin problem:
Via FTP or your host’s control panel, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)

    • Via FTP or your host’s control panel, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
    • Via FTP or your host’s control panel, create new folder called “plugins”
    • try toLogin to your WordPress administration menus

    Thread Starter Satman1

    (@satman1)

ok will that not change my website?

    Moderator keesiemeijer

    (@keesiemeijer)

No this will not change your website. make sure to use the same version WordPress files

    (@satman1)

    (@satman1)

    Unfortunatly that didn’t work.
I haven’t done what you said earlier about UTF-8 without BOM, i didn’t quite understand how to do it.

    (@satman1)

Sorry, it does now appear to be working with the superblogger name changed to superbloggerx, i presume i should just keep it like that?

And Thanks for your time and effort in helping me. it’s really appreciated.

Any chance i can email you and tell you my admin password etc so you could have a look at my account something else is very wrong, the front page is dispalying code and when i hit update all i get is a white screen, i thought maybe there would be something obvious.
