Can't login to WP due to ERROR: Invalid Domain for Site Key message

  • When I attempt to login I get this message: ERROR: Incorrect username or password. I changed the password, but that changed nothing.
    I’m guessing the problem is the faulty reCAPTCHA on the login page, which says inside it: ERROR: Invalid domain for Site Key
    .
    How do I login or get access to my Admin panel?

    PLEASE NOTE: I fear that if I attempted one of the solutions I found I would make the situation worse because of my lack of computer smarts.
