Can't login to WP Admin Panel no more

  • Today I generated a SSL certificate for my domain and I tried to acces WP-Admin with https but did not work, I got a white screen. When I used the unsecure http protocol it worked like always.
    But a couple of hours ago when I was searching for a solution on the problem (can’t acces wp-admin via SSL) , did not find anything. So I just refreshed the wp-admin in wich I was already logged in and I got a white screen! So now I can’t acces wp-admin anymore.. And I did not do anything.. One minute it worked and the other I got the blank white screen.
    I tried renaming plugins folder but than I get this error when I’m trying to accces wp-admin: “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/farmings/public_html/wp-config.php:1) in /home/farmings/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1173”.
    I have everything up to date. I have the following plugins installed:
    Akismet
    iThemes Security (Better WP Security)
    Contact Form 7
    Facebook Like Button
    NextGen Gallery
    Quick PagePost Redirect
    Simple Sharer Buttons

    I did not have any problems with the plugins, I have them installed for over 1 year. The theme I use is Arras.

    Please, I really need help with this one. I found no solution for my problems.

  • Try to rename the Ithemes folder to something different and check if you will have access to the site again. This looks like you have been banned from the Better WP Security for some reason.

    Instead of renaming the plugins folder, rename the folder for iThemes Security. That will stop the plugin from being found. You can rename it back and reactivate it inside the admin later.

    Renamed iThemes Security folder. Still white.. Nothing changed.

    It may be something wrong with my PC? Because after I posted this message and the reply I got white screen too.

    I tried it from my mobile phone browser and I got the white screen from there too so idk. But like I said, I’m getting white screen here on WordPress support when I press POST.

    Can you try login with https:// yoursite.smt/wp-login
    It might be problem with the ssl, but don’t know much about this.
    Else – try cleaning the .htaccess folder from any iTheme Sec stuff.

    And I also get white screen after posting in the forum, the problem is not with your computer ??

    When I try to login that way I press LOGIN and nothing happens the page just refreshes.
    This problem is not related to SSL.. I think. Because I did not configure anything for SSL.
    I get the same stuff with iThemes folder renamed or not.. It seems like the problem is from something else?? I don’t know.

    I will try to reset my router to get a new IP maybe we’ll see if iThemes banned me than??

    I had a similar problem earlier today. This problem was caused by a new version WordPress (4.0), and a new update for the WooCommerce plugin. The update was done about 18 hours ago. Could it be that your problems are related to updates – and not SSL?

    So what can I do to fix it? No there is no problem with SSL, like i said there is nothing configured it its just there and you can use https with the website but the wp-admin doesnt work with it . If it worked i would force redirect wp login and wp admin to https secure. But right now wp-admin doesnt work anymore not with http and https…
