• I can’t get to the wp-admin login page. this is what is displayed:

“There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

Also, I can’t login when I try to sign in on www.remarpro.com. www.remarpro.com says the login credentials for that account are not correct. I have requested a password reset 3 times and received no email.

I’m fairly certain we have been hacked. It is crucial I get into the site and secure it as there is sensitive user information on the site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Plugins were disabled, so not the issue.

I have been using Divi, so I renamed the theme file and found I could get to wp-admin. I switched to twenty thirteen theme (i think that was it) and got the same error again. As a precaution, I deleted all themes and reinstalled Divi. Same error message.

Since you are using a commercial theme and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Divi by Elegent theme forum: https://www.elegantthemes.com/forum/

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
