Can't login to refresh permalinks

  • I removed some posts from our site a few weeks ago and now can’t login either. I’m trying o access the blog from the same computer, so that hasn’t changed.

    Our site is https://blog.zenbedrooms.com/

    Why isn’t our password and username working now?? When I asked for a new password to be sent, I checked the email and nothing came from wordpress. If anyone knows how I might access our blog again, I’d be very grateful.

    I disabled all plugins, removed htaccess file and reset permalinks phpmyadmin. This got me back into the site HOWEVER when I try to login to dashboard admin I still get:

    https://ak-test.net/usc/login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fak-test.net%2Fusc%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    The above link is a page not found error.

    OK…what worked for me was in my last post above.

    1. Rename plugins folder
    2. Reset permalinks phpmyadmin
    3. Remove .htaccess file

    Back into the site finally and went to admin to clean things up then

    1. Get plugins folder back
    2. Reset custom permalinks
    3. Added back .htaccess file
