    Hi,

I can’t login to my site anymore. The message displayed on my login page is “Your IP address (51.255.87.220) has been reported for security violations.” (this is a rough translation of the message, which is actually displayed in French). What is strange is that this IP is not mine. I’ve whitelisted my own IP and this IP following the instructions on https://jetpack.com/support/security-features/ but I still can’t get to login. I’ve removed Jetpack from my site using the FTP to remove the plugin but I still get this message.

    What should I do ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Deborah

I would report this here – https://jetpack.com/contact-support/ – as that’s more likely to be able to help you faster. Keep in mind, they’re at a company retreat right now :/

Sure, I’d like to, but their form isn’t reachable until Friday, September 23rd ??
I was just wondering if anyone had ever had the same issue and/or had any idea of how to fix this, as this is really the first time I’m getting this message although I’m using Jetpack for ages on multiple sites !

I have the same problem. I cannot access my dashboard at all. And I am getting the message for at least 4 different IP addresses (in two domains). Does this mean I am blocked until the end of september?

I have the same problem too.

Right, this is definitely the same problem.
I have tried to log in to my dashboard using a different wifi network but still have the issue, although it looks like it’s not rejecting me with the same IP address all the time, just as you’ve described it.
I also wonder how long I’m going to be stuck with it ??
Can’t anyone help or suggest any workaround ?

@straw94: Thanks for the report, and sorry for the delay! This issue is often caused by your server configuration. Could you provide me with a link to your site, so I can take a closer look? If you’d prefer to contact us privately, we’ll be reopening the contact form as soon as we can.

@joneall @vbdeco: Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome? While similar, these issues will need to be investigated individually.

    Done !
