• Hi there, I’m unable to login through /wp-admin, and when I select to reset my password, nothing shows up in my email inbox or junk folders prompting for the password reset. Has anybody experienced this and/or have any advice for me moving forward?

    First off, Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Sorry for the delayed response, and thank you for your help!

    I believe that my problem might be multi-layered. I was recently with the web development company, and they were managing my website for me. I don’t have access to the ftp information, any login credentials for the website’s hosting provider, any of the original files for phpmyadmin.

    I was hoping that if I could find a way in to the wp-admin I’d be able to fix/find the rest of this information.

    I’m a little lost, haha.
