Can't login or register with Ultimate Member

  • Hey everyone,

    I have installed and activated Ultimate Member plugin in a website that I’m currently building for a client. After set up, I tried logging in using my admin credentials in a different browser to test it. However, I’m being redirected back to the login screen and not the WordPress admin page. I have both “Allow Backend Login Screen for Guests” and “Allow Backend Register Screen for Guests” switched off. Other than that, the rest of the settings are at their default state.

    I tried doing a fresh re-install by uninstalling the plugin first then deleting it. But when I re-installed it, it’s as if I never uninstalled it. Everything remained the same. Even the new user registration page is giving the same problem. When I tried creating a new user, it redirected me back to the registration page with all the fields empty but no new user registered in the backend.

    I also tried going to the database and delete every row that has either “ultimate” or “um_” values in every table in order to have a fresh install. Even though that sort of worked, but I’m still having the issue with the login and register page redirect.

    Please help!

    everyone i am using a ultimate member plugin with paid user tags extension.
    my requirement is that. i have create a three directory in U.M.

    1 (super admin),
    2. (sub admin),
    3 (members),

    and also created a three roles.

    1. (super admin).
    2. (sub admin).
    3. (member).

    but problem is that how to change roles from frontend. supposed i am a sub admin in website but i want to make a members to sub admin. so what should i do.

    We have set up an additional website on wpengine and have cloned the main site.

    This problem has occurred on our test site. If I try to login as an admin user through the site’s login prompt, it sends me to the wordpress login page, if I login there it sends me to the user login screen and so it goes back and forth. I cannot appear to login as an admin user. I can login as a customer user without any problem.

    My guess is that something in the way the login is setup is not liking the change of URL but I don’t know where to change this.

    edit: mod_security isn’t used on the WPengine system.

    How to disable deactivate member from search functionality.
    suppose i am searching a member in search via form all member searched according to key word but i want to deactivate member do not showing in search result.
    at present all member search in search result. (active member and deactivate)
    but i want show only active member only.

    also i have purchased user tag extension for ultimate member plugin .
