• Hi there,

I have received an email from my Host saying that my website may have been compromised and they have removed files in order to protect my website.
However, after being notified i trying to access my site and have the following the error message:

Warning: require(/home/tieagn/ourglobalvoyage.com/wp-includes/class-wp-http-curl.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/tieagn/ourglobalvoyage.com/wp-settings.php on line 209

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/tieagn/ourglobalvoyage.com/wp-includes/class-wp-http-curl.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’) in /home/tieagn/ourglobalvoyage.com/wp-settings.php on line 209

This error message also appears when the website is searched.
Not sure what to do or how to fix as i cannot access the code or my wordpress.
Lastly, i tried checking the site through wordpress.com only for it to notify me that my website is disconnected.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • I would start by downloading WordPress fresh from www.remarpro.com and FTP all of those files over your existing ones. You won’t lose any data in that process and it will likely help clear things up.

    Hello,

Kindly check out this path (/home/tieagn/ourglobalvoyage.com/wp-includes/class-wp-http-curl.php) and make sure class-wp-http-curl.php is available with permission 644

    Thanks,

    Hi @mickmel,

I am willing to admit that I am a complete rockie and not quite sure how I would do that. Would I do it through my host c-panel or through the coding on my wordpress account?

    Hi Group of Oceninfo,

I have just double checked the coding that my host deleted under suspicion that it was inserted malware.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

You’d use your cPanel credentials through software such as FileZilla. It feels a bit tricky, but it’s really not too bad. WPbeginner has some good video tutorials about it:
