cant login anymore .. please help!!

  • it’s been more then a year that i did something with my site https://www.fodiographer.com but now i want to become more active again. l lost my login stuff due to a computer crash (switched from microsoft to apple, everybody should switch to apple seriously !!!) but you have always the option retrieve password through email or so i thought. when i typed in my email adres it wasn’t recognized so now i cant login!! the strange thing however is that i still get email (spam comments) everyday from wordpress and it says from [email protected] to my email adres at chello.nl

    what can i do .. please somebody help me ??? a big thank you in advance

    reset your password another way

    This will only be useful if you have logged into your site from your Mac at least once:

    In OS X, look in your ~/Applications/Utilities/ folder for Keychain Access.app, open it, then look for your site in the list. It will probably be listed under All Items as something like

    fodiographer.com – Internet Password

    Select (highlight) that item, then press Command-I. In the small window that opens, check the Show Password box. You’ll then be asked to enter your admin password (your computer’s admin password); choose Allow, and your site’s login password should appear.

    wow this is strange .. i went to the cpanel of my webhost and went to mysqladmin and found out that in the admin area of wordpress there was an unknown hotmail adress filled in .. i am sure i never filled in this email adress!! just to check things i filled in that email adres to change password and to my astonishment it said it was sent to that hotmail adres!!!! after changin email adres in mysqladmin i could retrieve a new password .. have anyone seen such a thing .. so weird!!!
