OK, new problem. People cannot login after they change the random password sent them by clicking on the Login tab. To login they must go to the website and then it works.

    How can this be fixed?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

OK, 2nd related problem. How can I tell newly registered people how to login? The registration form has a block to check for the TOS. Expecting the TOS would be included in the registration email the site sends out, I put the login instructions ther. Unfortunately the TOS is not included in the email.

Registration is handled by WordPress, not Wordfence. It might be a WP-Members plugin issue if they change the default WordPress login behavior. This search might help you with what you are trying to do with adding content to the registration emails. Feel free to reopen if this is not the case.

    Hi Tim,

Using the WP login form may not be the problem. Registered users cannot login because WF blocks them. Even I, the admin, get blocked!

Because people had problems logging in, I manually registered all 64 members of our chapter through the WP “add a new member form”. That form sends a random password the registered user can change. When the user changes the password they get a notice to login using the new password. It is at this point WF, I think, blocks the user.

The user can login if they go to our website but not if they click on the link to login with the new password. I think it is WF blocking users but will post this in the WP forum as well.

    Thanks,

    Tom
