Can't login after moving WP

which you mentioned above and tried resolving your issue with.

But here’s what you can do after moving your files from Test folder to Public_Html directory

Go to the Phpmyadmin Wizard

Try changing your URL from
https://www.seattlegeotech.org/test to https://www.seattlegeotech.org

It should be working fine.

Thank you for responding. Changing the urls is the first few steps of the directions. I confirmed in wp-options and they are correct.

I still have the same problem. Any other ideas?

@dashrafi786: changing the URL in the database is the wrong thing to do at this point.

@toddius: the instructions you’re following are the right way to move the site to root. The errors I see at login show WP Super Cache to be the problem. Delete that plugin and remove any super cache directives from wp-config.php.

Deleting the WP Super Cache plugin did the trick. Everything is looking good now. Thank you for your help @mark Ratledge.

Good that it worked. Be sure and reset permalinks.

If the move is done and everything works OK now, you can reinstall Super Cache and the paths and directives will be correct when the plugin installs itself again.

@songdogtech, 9 months later, your tip worked for me too! In my case it was a plugin for a WP maintenance page that was causing the issue. Thank you!
