Can’t Login.

  • Hello,
    After last update the 2FAS Light, I can’t login anymore.
    The site is on Google cloud.
    Please inform me how to disable the plugin or what to do in order to be able to login again.

    Can you provide more details on this issue? What does happen when you want to log in? Do you have version 1.1.5 installed? Did version 1.1.4 work properly? And the last one question: do you use plugin which changes default login page name?

    There was a bug in version 1.1.4 which caused problems with compatibility with plugins changing login page name but we’ve fixed that in version 1.1.5.

    If you have access to FTP or SSH you can change the plugin folder’s name in order to disable the plugin. If you have access to the database you can find twofas_light_totp_status setting in the usermeta table and change it’s value from totp_enabled to totp_disabled. If you don’t have access to FTP and database you must contact your hosting provider to do it for you.

    Hello,
    I don’t remember my version I assume this issue came after I update it.
    When I insert the code it does not do anything and every time I put new code it stay the same.
    I have SSH to the site ,Can you update me the plugin path I will try to renew it.

    Please SSH to the server and go to the plugins folder. Please rename 2fas-light to something else for example 2fas-disabled. It will disable the plugin. Then you will be able to log in. After successful login please try to update the plugin and enable it again.
