Can’t Log Into My Site

  • I can’t log into my site. The screen just fills with error messages. Here’s what it says:

    I’ve cleared my cache and cookies, I’ve enabled all cookies. I’m at a total loss here. Thank you so much for your help!

  • These messages appear when PHP 8.1 or 8.2 is running in the hosting. WordPress is not fully compatible with these PHP versions even in its latest version. Set the hosting PHP to 8.0 and it should work again. If you have any questions about how to do this, please contact your hoster’s support.

    Thank you! I’m contacting hosting now! I hope they can do this! Is it through cpanel?

    If you have cpanel as interface for administration, you can also select the PHP version there if your hoster provides you with that there. The support must be able to help you with this.

    Thanks! They’re being really difficult right now. I’m definitely changing hosting. They keep telling me the website is fine but I’m literally screenshotting the error messages. It’s maddening.
