and now the theme is all wonked out also “autofocus”

i have register.com as my host

just visiting my page. https://www.squidvicious.com you can tell something ain’t right, you can’t click on anything “the next page doesn’t come up”

I’m really new working wordpress so this has me confused and wondering what I can do?

I can get to my log in screen but when i try to log in the next screen is 404 not found.

I suspect my problem may be due to a corrupted WP database. I’ll remove WP3.0 and reinstall back WP2.9.2 and rebuild my database and themes. That should do it if there’s no quick fix to the problem.

yeah, i have no idea how to remove 3 and reinstall 2.9.2 to even try.

How did you install WP3.0 in the first place? Do you have admin access to cPanel? If you do NOT have a backup of your WP database and impt files beforehand, removing WP3.0 will inevitably cause you to WIPE OUT your uploads, themes, and postings, etc. You’d have to rebuild your blog again.

This is what I did. Logon to my cPanel X. Look under Software/Services and click on Fantastico De Luxe. Look under blogs section, click on WordPress. Remove the current installation for your site and once that’s done, do a new installation for WP2.9.2. You will then have a new WordPress blog with the default theme. You can then log-in to wp-admin with the username/password that you created and rebuild your blog from there.

I’m on to rebuilding my blog at https://farmvillesecretguide.net/
    Bye.

i would love for that to work but when i was trying something just like it i looked at my backup zip file and it didn’t have anything in it..so it’s screwed. i’m just gonna bounce five years of blogs and start over. I really don’t care anymore.
