• I moved my site to IONOS and I can view the site just fine, but I can’t log in. Here’s what I’ve tried and nothing has worked.

    1. Tried to reset password via Lost Password, I got the email just fine and reset it, but the new one didn’t work.
    2. Reset the password via editing the database, nope
    3. Added a new user via the database, nope
    4. Disabled Themes directory, nope
    5. Disabled Plugins directory, nope
    6. Renamed htaccess to htaccessOLD, nope
    7. Edited the Functions.php for my theme and added this wp_set_password( ‘my_new_password’, 1 ); and that didn’t work.
    8. Entered Recovery Mode via plymoutharearepublicans.org/wp-login.php?action=entered_recovery_mode and it told me it was in Recovery mode and told me to log in but all logins failed.

I am about out of options, any thoughts on what I can do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

In addition to troubleshooting steps yo have already performed, also try:

    • Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or?browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well?such as Cloudflare. That will solve many weird JavaScript issues.
    • Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.
