Can't log in to wp-admin

  • I installed a new wordpress blog to my website and when I tried to log in on the wp-admin page it’s tell me my username is invalid even though it is correct, any suggestions?

    it is possible to create a temporary admin user by editing the functions.php file.

    what is ftp access and how can I get it. I need to reset all passwords so I can edit my site and retrieve my emails from webmail.

    Hi ehami2014, if you’re completely new to WordPress and you just installed it, I’d probably say the easiest thing for you to do is…reinstall WordPress.

    It’s not like you’ll be losing any data and wordpress literally takes 5 mins to install. And this time, make sure to write down (at least temporarily) all username/passwords until you can log in and verify everything.
