When I try to login to my admin – I get the error below. I have not logged into it for quite a while or done anything in it to change things. I recently had it possibly get hacked, but my web-host was able to pull a back-up that was from last month. Suggestions? I’m a website newbie, sorry!

Shoot – I’m not sure where I can tell since I can’t log in. Whatever version was most recent when I created my site in December-February?

It is not possible to determine the WP version from your site. You need to examine the wp-options table in your database and locate the value for the option name db_version.

Start by manually upgrading to WordPress 3.5.2.

Any idea how I can disable plug-ins like it tells me to, without being able to get into the admin panel?

@djwashelesky – If you have FTP access you can login and rename the wp-content/plugins folder to wp-content/plugins-backup.

That will disable the plugins.

I do have access to my FTP – my main worry is that if I turn off the plugins and the upgrade doesn’t fix my issue, my site won’t function AND I won’t be able to log in.

If I rename the plugins back to the original name, will they function properly again without doing anything in admin? I really appreciate your help.

I can’t promise anything, but yes, they should. Do you have your site backed up?

You will need to re-activate them again but other than that – yes, they’ll be fine in almost all cases.
